The waffle was sort of on the bland side as well, but drowned in syrup, you couldn't tell. The cheesy grits were alright by me. Service was great and friendly, the restaurant has a nice vibe to it, but maybe the hype is over. I used to prefer Lolos over most other places for the chicken and waffles and loved that it was locally owned.
